This is just a random thought, but what's with guys asking you to go out by saying "I'm doing kareoke tonight... you should come." I feel like the term "should" is so flakey.
I SHOULD eat more veggies, I SHOULD call my mom more, and I SHOULD get more sleep. Those are all things I "should" do. But if you're asking me to join you for a stab at the old mic at kareoke, then for the love of God, say "I'm doing kareoke tonight, would you like to join me?"
